The New York Biotechnology Association supports the development and growth of New York State's biotechnology industry, and serves its members and the biotechnology community by providing a network for information exchange, shared services, and collective action.

SERVE NYBA'S MEMBERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES BY PROVIDING A NETWORK FOR INFORMATION EXCHANGE AND COLLECTIVE ACTION.
SERVE AS THE CENTRAL INFORMATION RESOURCE ON BIOTECHNOLOGY IN NEW YORK STATE:
Proactively collect and disseminate pertinent information on biotechnology and the industry in New York State to internal and external stakeholders.
Establish NYBA as the voice of biotechnology in New York; shaping informed, positive public opinion and demonstrating biotechnology industry impact on New York State.
SERVE AS THE PRINCIPAL ADVOCATE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY AND POLICY MATTERS IN NEW YORK STATE:
Build alliances among regional bioscience industry organizations, academia, the government and the real estate and financial communities to create and enact policy that will strengthen the growth of New York's biotechnology industry.
Cultivate ongoing relationships with key people in the executive and legislative branches of NYS government, and its agencies, to ensure that NYBA is a known and welcome participant in debates affecting New York's biotechnology industry.
