Objective: I am currently attending Hofstra University part-time as a post-bacc pre-med student. A position with the NYBA is an exciting prospect, as I enjoy working in the lab in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. I can genuinely contribute to a team because of my unique perspective from my undergraduate education in Applied Mathematics. My hours are flexible - I am unavailable Monday and Wednesday.

Cell biology/Biochemistry lab: advanced, practiced lab techniques including many purification and visualization techniques, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, proper bacteria-handling techniques for cloning and transformation, safety, proper notebook-keeping and deciphering of laboratory methods
Computational software: advanced knowledge of MATLAB, Maple, SPSS, Latex
Writing: science journal report writing in both biology and mathematics; very conscious of grammar, spelling, and accuracy; constructing philosophical arguments
